The development of innovative spinal cord injury treatments

SuPine Therapeutics aims to develop pioneering intervention to treat incurable condition, spinal cord injury. We developed two innovative platform technologies; natural polymer-based hydrogel(SGS101), next-generation stem cell therapy(SSC101). SGS101 is an implantable hydrogel which can be directly applied to damaged spinal cord in golden-time to protect injured tissue and provide optimal tissue environments for neuroregeneration. SSC101 is a technology to generate patient-specific stem cells in order to replace damaged cells. Our ultimate goal is to develop transplantable tissue-mimic spinal cord assembloids(SSCA101) by combining both technologies. This technology will be the fundamental solution for spinal cord injury treatment.
